Health and Social Welfare

In the area of Health and Social Welfare, the Bank promotes and creates opportunities to support the civil society, having already supported several social and health-related institutions.

Sport

We contribute with financial support having established several partnerships, to help and support the organization of sports tournaments, both at the federated and amateur level. At federal level, the Bank has supported sports such as roller hockey, basketball, cycling, judo and handball over the years.

We focus our environmental action on three main pillars: Reduction of energy consumption and emissions, reduction of material consumption and environmental awareness.

BAI has the ambition to be a "Green Bank", supporting projects that aim to reduce the environmental footprint of the Bank itself and the companies it supports.

This mission is part of the Environmental Policy in Angola, with a view to protecting the country's biodiversity, reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, reducing consumption of natural resources, promoting environmental education and reusing and recycling used materials.
